Doctor Who’s Most Evil Adversaries
The television series testosterone clinic Harlingen Tx Who has been on our televisions for nearly fifty years. In that time it has given us many characters and eleven Doctors. There are close to one thousand episodes of Doctor Who with countless novels, audio adventures and comic books. In all of these stories, the Doctor always fights evil aliens, mad tyrants and megalomaniacs but some never stay down for the count.
In this enriched science fiction universe, Doctor Who’s most evil adversaries are summed up in two individuals. The first one is simply called The Master. The Master is one of the Doctor’s people, another Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. He too like the Doctor grew tired of the Time Lord’s constant watching over the rest of the universe. However unlike the Doctor, the Master ventured forth into the universe to cause chaos and destruction.
The Master first encountered the Doctor on screen in the episode, ‘Terror of the Autons’ where he escaped from a Time Lord prison and made his way to Earth. He would do battle multiple times with the third Doctor until he vanishes only to appear again to frame the fourth Doctor for the murder of the current Time Lord President. The master would go on to steal the power of the Keeper of Traken and even take over the body of Nyssa’s father, Tremas.
The Master was responsible for the fourth Doctor’s regeneration and a constant thorn in the side of the fifth Doctor. He would also rise to do battle with the sixth and seventh Doctors; once again being indirectly responsible for the regeneration of the seventh Doctor. The Master would once again vanish having been devoured by the Eye of Harmony within the Doctor’s TARDIS. The Doctor would later in his tenth incarnation discover the Master hiding literally at the end of time in the form of Professor Yana. Having disguised himself as the Prime Minister of Great Britain, the Master and the Doctor would do battle one final time.
The second of Doctor Who’s most evil adversaries is not so much an individual but a legacy. This legacy is known as the Daleks. The Daleks are a race of evil creatures from the planet Skaro. These metal monstrosities know only one word, “Exterminate” and seek the extermination of all life forms which are not Dalek in the universe.
