At 7:34 AM, Ambulance 517 responded to Company 3's area for a medical call due to injuries from a fall. DTVFD Engine 503 and PWCDFR Medic 503 were already at the scene. While assisting with preparing the patient, Engine 503 called for Engine 517 to assist with a Landing Zone for a MedEvac.
Upon arrival A517's crew drove Medic 503 to the LZ and assisted the paramedics in the back of the unit. When Helicopter MedStar 2 arrived, personnel at the LZ transferred the patient to the flight crew and returned to service.
