On November 8th, 2009, S.Gantt, S. Chasin, and J.Apter drove to Colonial Beach, VA with A503 to attend and compete at the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads (VAVRS) district 10 meeting. D-TRS was the only department to compete in the BLS competition. D-TRS was also prepared to compete ALS, but no other departments were prepared to offer competition. S.Chasin and J.Apter were 2 of 4 individuals to compete in the EVOC competition in which S.Chasin took 3rd place! We attended CEU classes and the meeting afterward. We look forward to attending the next meeting in February.
